Dashami is the Sanskrit word for "ten", and is the tenth day in the lunar fortnight (Paksha) of the Hindu calendar. Each month has two Dashami days, being the tenth day of the "bright" (Shukla) and of the "dark" (Krishna) fortnights respectively. Thus Dashami occurs on the tenth and the twenty-fifth day of each month. It is a very important day of the major festival of Hindus, Dashain. Some people fast while other have delicious food enjoying with their relatives who come from near and far areas to celebrate festivals with their beloved relatives. Ableism (/ˈeɪbəlɪzəm/; also known as ablism,[1] disablism (Brit. English), anapirophobia, anapirism, and disability discrimination) is discrimination and social prejudice against people with disabilities or who are perceived to have disabilities. Ableism characterizes persons as defined by their disabilities and as inferior to the non-disabled.[2] On this basis, people are assigned or denied certain perceived abilities, skills, or character orientations.

Esther's Follies is a modern-day vaudeville theatre located on 6th Street in downtown Austin, Texas. The group is named after actress Esther Williams.[1] Acts incorporate magic, juggling, singing, dancing, and sketches on current events. The show is fast-paced, and most of the acts incorporate a comedic theme.
525 E 6th St, Austin, TX 78701 (512) 320-0553
The show lasts about one and a half hours with a short intermission, and runs every evening from Thursday to Saturday. The original Esther's Follies building burned down in 1982; the group traveled to several different locations before establishing its current home on 6th Street.[2] 2017 marked Esther's Follies' 40th anniversary of performances. The cast has changed significantly since its inception but still includes the founders, Michael Shelton and Shannon Sedwick, who continue to make appearances during the show. Austin counterculture figure Kerry Awn was a regular performer with Esther's Follies for 30 years until 2011.[3]

Baruch 5:1-9 Put off, O Jerusalem, the garment of thy mourning, and affliction: and put on the beauty, and honour of that everlasting glory which thou hast from God.
Put off, O Jerusalem. Earlier in the book Jerusalem was personified as a mother mourning for her exiled children: For she saw the wrath of God coming upon you, and she said: Give ear, all you that dwell near Sion, for God hath brought upon me great mourning: For I have seen the captivity of my people, of my sons, and my daughters, which the Eternal hath brought upon them. For I nourished them with joy: but I sent them away with weeping and mourning (Bar 4:9-11). It was a common practice of the time to put on simple clothing for the act of mourning (Joel 1:13), and this Mother Jerusalem did: I have put off the robe of peace, and have put upon me the sackcloth of supplication, and I will cry to the most High in my days (Bar 4:20).
And put on the beauty, and honor of that everlasting glory. A change of clothing (“and put on”) meant a change in status, and in the Bible often signifies divine blessings. Joseph’s status (for example) is closely associated with clothing. His status as his father’s favorite was symbolized by a tunic (Gen 37:3-4). His jealous brother’s stripped him of the tunic when they sought to rid themselves of him (Gen 37:23). Later, Pharaoh showed him favor by placing him in charge of all Egypt and bestowing upon him a fine linen robe (Gen 41:39-42). All of this related to the divine plan (Gen 45:4-5). The long naked Gerasene demoniac was found fully clothed after being healed by Jesus (Luke 8:26-39, esp. verse 35). The repentant son in the Parable of the Prodigal is clothed with his father’s finest robe (Luke 15:11-32, esp. verse 22). See also Revelation 3:4-5, Gal 3:27; Eph 4:24, Eph 6:11, etc).
Bar 5:2 God will clothe thee with the double garment of justice, and will set a crown on thy head of everlasting honour.
Garment of justice. Reverses the guilt and shame mentioned in their confession of sin: To the Lord our God belongeth justice: but to us, and to our fathers confusion (shame) of face, as at this day (Bar 2:6).
Will set a crown on thy head. Reversing the situation of punishment that resulted because of their sins. The kingdom centered in Jerusalem had fell into abeyance and the children of the kingdom scattered to serve pagan monarchs: And he hath delivered them up to be under the hand of all the kings that are round about us, to be a reproach, and desolation among all the people, among whom the Lord hath scattered us (Bar 2:4).
Bar 5:3 For God will shew his brightness in thee, to every one under heaven.
God will shew His brightness in thee. His salvation.
To every one under heaven. Those Gentile peoples who were bidden by Mother Jerusalem to witness the exile (Bar 4:14) are now called upon to witness its end. For as the neighbours of Sion have now seen your captivity from God: so shall they also shortly see your salvation from God, which shall come upon you with great honour, and everlasting glory (Bar 4:24).
Bar 5:4 For thy name shall be named to thee by God for ever: the peace of justice, and honour of piety.
The repentant, having appealed to the name of God will themselves be given a name: Remember not the iniquities of our fathers, but think upon thy hand, and upon thy name at this time: For thou art the Lord our God, and we will praise thee, O Lord: Because for this end thou hast put thy fear in our hearts, to the intent that we should call upon thy name, and praise thee in our captivity, for we are converted from the iniquity of our fathers, who sinned before thee (Bar 3:5-7).
Like clothing, a new name indicates a change in status (Gen 17:5; Matt 16:17-19; Isa 62:2; Rev 2:17, etc.). “The conferring of a name in a context such as the present one involves not only the giving of the name, but the bestowal of the attributes indicated” (Jerome Biblical Commentary 37:20).
Bar 5:5 Arise, O Jerusalem, and stand on high: and look about towards the east, and behold thy children gathered together from the rising to the setting sun, by the word of the Holy One rejoicing in the remembrance of God.
Arise…stand on high. A reversal of their exile: And we are brought low, and are not raised up: because we have sinned against the Lord our God, by not obeying his voice (Bar 2:5).
And behold thy children gathered together. Mother Jerusalem, who saw the captivity of her children (Bar 4:10) is bidden to witness their being gathered together, reversing the punishment of exile and bring the relief for which they had prayed (Bar 2:4, Bar 2:13).
Bar 5:6 For they went out from thee on foot, led by the enemies: but the Lord will bring them to thee exalted with honour as children of the kingdom.
Some translations, such as the RSV and NAB speak of the return in this fashion: “but God will bring them back to you, carried in glory, as on a royal throne, ” thus emphasizing the contrast and reversal of their situation: led out on foot by enemies, carried back on thrones by God.
Bar 5:7 For God hath appointed to bring down every high mountain, and the everlasting rocks, and to fill up the valleys to make them even with the ground: that Israel may walk diligently to the honour of God.
See Isaiah 40:3-4 and Luke 3:4-6 (part of today’s Gospel reading). A kingly people carried on thrones deserves a king’s welcome. In ancient times, when a king or royal figure was traveling to a city in the kingdom, it was expected that the roads be put into good repair before his arrival, such is the underlying imagery here. God has decreed that all the obstacles for his people’s return be removed. High mountains were often an image of (or associated with) arrogance and opposition to God (Jer 51:24-25; Zech 4:7; Isa 2:11-15; Isa 37:24), perhaps because they were often associated with pagan worship (Hosea 4:13). Valleys, ravines, etc., also were associated with sin (Isa 57:5; 2 Kings 23:10). It’s not hard to understand how the image came to be associated with repentance; human pride and sin must be brought down before one can return to God.
Bar 5:8 Moreover the woods, and every sweet-smelling tree have overshadowed Israel by the commandment of God.
Like mountains, trees were also a symbol of pride, arrogance (Isa 2:11-15; Isa 10:33-34), and false worship (Isa 1:29; Isa 57:5; Hosea 4:13; 1 Kings 14:23; 2 Kings 16:4). Here they serve God for the sake of his people
Bar 5:9 For God will bring Israel with joy in the light of his majesty, with mercy, and justice, that cometh from him.
God will bring Israel with joy. Thus is reversed the prophecy of Jeremiah 7:34 which was quoted in Baruch 2:23: And
I will take away from you the voice of mirth, and the voice of joy, and
the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, and all the
land shall be without any footstep of inhabitants. God’s punishment having had it desired effect-opening his people to the grace of repentance-God’s mercy now comes to the fore.

Debra Austin (dancer)
John Austin (legal philosopher)
John Austin (3 March 1790 – 1 December 1859) was an English legal theorist, who posthumously influenced British and American law with an analytical approach to jurisprudence and a theory of legal positivism.[1] Austin opposed traditional approaches of "natural law", arguing against any need for connections between law and morality. Human legal systems, he claimed, can and should be studied in an empirical, value-free way.Empirical evidence

Argument in the alternative
Alternative pleading
Alternative pleading (or pleading in the alternative) is the legal term in the law of the United States for a form of pleading that permits a party in a court action to argue multiple possibilities that may be mutually exclusive by making use of legal fiction.
Legal fiction
A pleading in the alternative sets forth multiple claims or defenses either hypothetically or alternatively, such that if one of the claims or defenses are held invalid or insufficient, the other claims or defenses should still have to be answered.

About I-Corps
The National Science Foundation (NSF) created the NSF Innovation Corps (I-Corps™) (hereinafter I-Corps) Program in 2011 to develop and nurture a national innovation ecosystem
that builds upon fundamental research to guide the output of scientific
discoveries closer to the development of technologies, products and
processes that benefit society." NSF's I-Corps training is designed to
lower the market risk inherent in bringing a product or innovation to
market, thereby improving the chances for a viable business. Since NSF
started the I-Corps Program in 2011, several other Federal agencies have
funded I-Corps cohorts including NIH, DHS, USDA, DOD and DOE.
The goals of the SBIR/STTR and the I-Corps programs overlap by encouraging
the innovation and entrepreneurship of small businesses and enabling
those businesses to commercialize their innovations. NASA's
SBIR/STTR program releases solicitations for research and development
that are of interest to NASA's Mission Directorates with the goal that
the selected technologies will become a success by being transitioned,
or infused, into a NASA program, or by commercial success outside of
NASA and the Federal Government.

For Sunday sake of I love you mom and dad, and the Day After on Monday for Silver Economy of the moon:
Silver economy is the system of production, distribution and consumption of goods and services aimed at using the purchasing potential of older and ageing people and satisfying their consumption, living and health needs. The silver economy is analyzed in the field of social gerontology not as an existing economic system but as an instrument of ageing policy and the political idea of forming a potential, needs-oriented economic system for the aging population.[1][2] Its main element is gerontechnology as a new scientific, research and implementation paradigm.[3]
History
The
phrase "silver economy" is sometimes used interchangeably with the term
"silver market" (the “ageing marketplace” or the “mature market”), which
is a narrower concept. The wording "silver market" was created in the
1970s in Japan in the context of increasing of the availability of
facilities for seniors. Silver market includes, among others, good,
values and services for affluent older people; special solutions in
trade between operators, allowing adjustments to aging workforce; ideas
of universal design and transgenerational design
that aim is to adapt goods and services to people of different ages
("age-friendly"), physical condition and cognitive abilities, which may
result in improved social integration.[4]
The silver economy is not a single sector, but rather a collection of products and services from many existing economic sectors, including information technology, telecommunications, financial sector, housing, transport, energy, tourism, culture, infrastructure and local services, and long-term care.[5]

In ancient Roman religion and myth, Janus (/ˈdʒeɪnəs/ JAY-nəs; Latin: Ianus [ˈi̯aːnʊs]) is the god of beginnings, gates, transitions, time, duality, doorways,[1] passages, frames, and endings. He is usually depicted as having two faces. The month of January is named for Janus (Ianuarius).[2] According to ancient Roman farmers' almanacs Juno was mistaken as the tutelary deity of the month of January,[3] but Juno is the tutelary deity of the month of June.
Janus presided over the beginning and ending of conflict, and
hence war and peace. The gates of a building in Rome named after him
(not a temple, as it is often called, but an open enclosure with gates
at each end) were opened in time of war, and closed to mark the arrival
of peace. As a god of transitions, he had functions pertaining to birth and to journeys and exchange, and in his association with Portunus, a similar harbor and gateway god, he was concerned with travelling, trading and shipping.
Janus had no flamen or specialised priest (sacerdos) assigned to him, but the King of the Sacred Rites (rex sacrorum)
himself carried out his ceremonies. Janus had a ubiquitous presence in
religious ceremonies throughout the year. As such, Janus was ritually
invoked at the beginning of each ceremony, regardless of the main deity
honored on any particular occasion.[citation needed]
The ancient Greeks had no equivalent to Janus, whom the Romans claimed as distinctively their own

Pairs of pants are used as building blocks for compact surfaces in various theories. Two important applications are to hyperbolic geometry, where decompositions of closed surfaces into pairs of pants are used to construct the Fenchel-Nielsen coordinates on Teichmüller space, and in topological quantum field theory where they are the simplest non-trivial cobordisms between 1-dimensional manifolds.

Operation Charly (Spanish: Operación Charly), was allegedly the code-name given to a program undertaken by the military establishment in Argentina with the objective of providing military and counterinsurgency assistance to right-wing dictatorships in Central America to murder left-wing activists. The operation was either headed by the Argentine military with the agreement of the United States Department of Defense, or was led by the US and used the Argentinians as a proxy. Few of the Junta members are currently in prison for convicted for crimes against humanity.[1]

Some conservatives had hoped to use Sen. Ted Cruz’s lawsuit over the relatively obscure debt-repayment limit as a means to totally eradicate a landmark law that added significant new guardrails to the nation’s campaign finance system.
Senators Cory Booker, Tim Scott and Raphael Warnock brought vastly different perspectives to proceedings that highlighted the Senate’s striking lack of diversity.

Top-level domain
A top-level domain (TLD) is one of the domains at the highest level in the hierarchical Domain Name System of the Internet.[10] The top-level domain names are installed in the root zone of the name space. For all domains in lower levels, it is the last part of the domain name, that is, the last label of a fully qualified domain name. For example, in the domain name www.example.com, the top-level domain is com. Responsibility for management of most top-level domains is delegated to specific organizations by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which operates the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA), and is in charge of maintaining the DNS root zone.Sarvatobhadra Chakra (Sanskrit: सर्वतोभद्र) in Hindu astrology (abbrev. Octonions are not as well known as the quaternions and complex numbers, which are much more widely studied and used. Octonions are related to exceptional structures in mathematics, among them the exceptional Lie groups. Octonions have applications in fields such as string theory, special relativity and quantum logic. Applying the Cayley–Dickson construction to the octonions produces the sedenions.
Mu vs. Aum in metaphysical court
Kemadruma yoga, is one of the most important Yogas formed by Moon. According to Varahmihir, this Yoga is formed when one house in front and back from the Moon are vacant. In other words, the second and the twelfth house from the Moon should be vacant so that this Yoga can be formed. This Yoga is not at all inauspicious as believed by the astrologers in the modern times. A person should not be afraid of this Yoga at all. In fact it provides strong power to a person to face all sorts of struggles in life so that he may excel and achieve success. People with this Yoga are generally seen to be excellent Generals, Ministers, Councillors, Advisors, Teachers, Professors, Coaches and highly paid & in-demand consultants. The general idea is that they may not be in 'one opinion within' for their own life but are the best people to seek advice from. For example: A person with this Yoga may not be a great soccer player being an average implementer however due to the deep knowledge of technique might guide someone to become one of the best soccer players in the Century. Most phenomenal Astrologers who have contributed to groundbreaking discoveries were born with this Yoga. It is believed that people with such type of a planetary setting, when once channelize their energy and calm the chattering mind either with meditation, yoga, mantra recitation, etc. - they can learn and store 'the entire knowledge available to humanity ever' which is what had made them great advisors & gurus throughout the history. A key distinguishing factor in such individuals is that they are theoretical gurus of all trades but average or below average implementers of that knowledge. These individuals when clubbed with an equally good implementer (who readily accepts 'a person with this Yoga' as his teacher), results in a highly successful union which is an unstoppable team in every aspect.

Macdonald identities
In mathematics, the Macdonald identities are some infinite product identities associated to affine root systems, introduced by Ian Macdonald (1972). They include as special cases the Jacobi triple product identity, Watson's quintuple product identity, several identities found by Dyson (1972), and a 10-fold product identity found by Winquist (1969).
Kac (1974) and Moody (1975) pointed out that the Macdonald identities are the analogs of the Weyl denominator formula for affine Kac–Moody algebras and superalgebras.

Deep Learning Graduate Networking iCORE Draft email for project narrative development considerations by All Fools day 2021This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is being issued by the U.S.Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy(EERE) Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO). The U.S. manufacturing sector uses 25% of the nation’s energy and has an annual energy bill of more than $150 billion. Efficiency improvements in manufacturing not only benefit the manufacturing sector, but also impact the energy efficiency of products used throughout the economy.
AMO's technical partnerships support the development, deployment and validation of technologies and practices including increasing the productivity and competitiveness of American manufacturers and other large energy-using facilities and continuing the education and development of the US workforce of energy professionals.
The Federal Government has been funding the Industrial Assessment Center (IAC)1 program, formerly called the Energy Analysis and Diagnostic Center program, since 1976. The goal of the IAC program is twofold: first, to help US manufacturing competitiveness by providing assessments and recommendations for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on energy efficiency, productivity, sustainability and competitiveness – including measuring the impacts of these recommendations on reducing greenhouse gas emissions; and second, to address a growing shortage of engineering professionals with applied energy and manufacturing-related skills by training a diverse cross-section of engineering students through hands-on involvement in these assessments.
This is a restricted eligibility announcement. Eligibility is restricted to the following types of entities: a U.S. college or school of engineering that is an integral part of its institutional structure and that has at least one of its four year undergraduate programs accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission or the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or equivalent (The IAC must be in the engineering department that holds the programmatic ABET or equivalent accreditation). The U.S. college or school of engineering must be physically located in the U.S. Eligible minority-serving institutions (MSIs) that meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply.

A MESSAGE FROM EEOC CHAIR CHARLOTTE A. BURROWS
FOR NATIONAL HUMAN TRAFFICKING PREVENTION MONTH
Human
trafficking is a crime against humanity and a grave threat to the
freedom and liberty of millions in the United States and around the
world. Therefore, President Biden has proclaimed January 2022 as National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. This month’s dedication is vital to raising awareness about the different forms of human trafficking and educating people about how to spot this horrific crime.
Survivors
of human trafficking include men, women, and children, and are
disproportionately members of immigrant, migrant, or other vulnerable
communities. In the words of the late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood
Marshall, “In recognizing the humanity of our fellow beings, we pay
ourselves the highest tribute.” At the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission (EEOC), we recognize that every worker deserves to be
treated with dignity and respect. The EEOC’s enforcement of protections
against workplace discrimination has an important role in the fight to
end human trafficking and to fulfill America’s promise of equal justice.
When force, fraud or coercion are used to compel labor or exploit
workers, traffickers and employers may violate not only criminal laws
but also the federal laws enforced by our agency – in particular, the
laws prohibiting employment discrimination on the bases of race,
national origin, sex and disability.
For example, in August 2020, the EEOC reached a settlement with Green Acre Farms and Valley Fruit Orchards, the last defendants in a long-running lawsuit involving trafficking of Thai farmworkers. The EEOC’s suit alleged that several farms had hired Thai farmworkers through a labor services company, Global Horizon, and subjected them to severe discrimination, including the inability to travel off the farms, inadequate food, substandard and unsanitary housing, and abusive working conditions because of their race and national origin. The agency obtained initial monetary relief and changes to employment practices from the two farms in a publicly filed consent decree. The EEOC has also recently collected $4.8 million for 54 affected workers who worked in Hawaii to partially satisfy an earlier judgment against another defendant farm in the Global Horizons Hawaii litigation – Maui Pineapple.

Wheat and chessboard problem
The wheat and chessboard problem (sometimes expressed in terms of rice grains) is a mathematical problem expressed in textual form as:
If a chessboard were to have wheat placed upon each square such that one grain were placed on the first square, two on the second, four on the third, and so on (doubling the number of grains on each subsequent square), how many grains of wheat would be on the chessboard at the finish?
When are media “ride-alongs” with police allowed?
Media “ride-alongs” are allowed up to the point that law enforcement personnel enter a private residence. In Wilson v. Layne, the U.S. Supreme Court in 1999 held that police officers executing an arrest warrant violated the Fourth Amendment when they, without the homeowner’s consent, invited a reporter and photographer inside a home to witness the search for a fugitive. While the Court recognized that the inclusion of media representatives in such cases might serve general law enforcement aims, it held that such goals were insufficient to overcome the privacy protections fundamental to the Fourth Amendment.

Spin Chemistry is a sub-field of chemistry and physics, positioned at the intersection of chemical kinetics, photochemistry, magnetic resonance and free radical chemistry, and dealing with magnetic and spin effects in chemical reactions. The examples of phenomena that Spin Chemistry deals with are Chemically Induced Dynamic Nuclear and Electron Polarization (CIDNP and CIDEP), magnetic isotope effects in chemical reactions, as well as the environmental, health effects of static and oscillating electromagnetic fields, and avian magnetoreception, particularly as radical-pair reaction kinetics are dependent on the direction of magnetic fields.[1]

Brownian motor
Brownian motors are nanoscale or molecular machines that use chemical reactions to generate directed motion in space.[1] The theory behind Brownian motors relies on the phenomena of Brownian motion, random motion of particles suspended in a fluid (a liquid or a gas) resulting from their collision with the fast-moving molecules in the fluid.[2]
On the nanoscale (1-100 nm), viscosity dominates inertia, and the extremely high degree of thermal noise in the environment makes conventional directed motion all but impossible, because the forces impelling these motors in the desired direction are minuscule when compared to the random forces exerted by the environment. Brownian motors operate specifically to utilise this high level of random noise to achieve directed motion, and as such are only viable on the nanoscale.[3]
The concept of Brownian motors is a recent one, having only been coined in 1995 by Peter Hänggi, but the existence of such motors in nature may have existed for a very long time and help to explain crucial cellular processes that require movement at the nanoscale, such as protein synthesis and muscular contraction. If this is the case, Brownian motors may have implications for the foundations of life itself.[3]
In more recent times, humans have attempted to apply this knowledge of natural Brownian motors to solve human problems. The applications of Brownian motors are most obvious in nanorobotics due to its inherent reliance on directed motion.[4][5]
Positron emission or beta plus decay (β+ decay) is a subtype of radioactive decay called beta decay, in which a proton inside a radionuclide nucleus is converted into a neutron while releasing a positron and an electron neutrino (νe).[1] Positron emission is mediated by the weak force. The positron is a type of beta particle (β+), the other beta particle being the electron (β−) emitted from the β− decay of a nucleus.
An example of positron emission (β+ decay) is shown with magnesium-23 decaying into sodium-23:

Potassium-40 (40K) is a radioactive isotope of potassium which has a long half-life of 1.251×109 years. It makes up 0.012% (120 ppm) of the total amount of potassium found in nature.
Potassium-40 is a rare example of an isotope that undergoes both types of beta decay. In about 89.28% of events, it decays to calcium-40 (40Ca) with emission of a beta particle (β−, an electron) with a maximum energy of 1.31 MeV and an antineutrino. In about 10.72% of events, it decays to argon-40 (40Ar) by electron capture (EC), with the emission of a neutrino and then a 1.460 MeV gamma ray.[1] The radioactive decay of this particular isotope explains the large abundance of argon (nearly 1%) in the Earth's atmosphere, as well as prevalence of 40Ar over other isotopes. Very rarely (0.001% of events), it will decay to 40Ar by emitting a positron (β+) and a neutrino.[2]
Pipelined architecture with its diagram
Sodium-22
Sodium-22 is a man-made isotope with a half-life of 2.6 years. It decays emitting a positron (β+ decay) into stable neon-22. A very small part (0.06 %) of the decays leads directly to the ground state of neon. The rest leads to an excited state of neon, partly via electron capture (9.5 %) from the inner atomic shell, but mainly via positron emission. The excited neon state passes into the ground state whereby a 1275 keV γ quantum is emitted. The lifetime of this excited neon is only 3.7 ps.
The emitted positrons react with the electrons of the surrounding matter and lead to a characteristic annihilation radiation at 511 keV. Because of momentum conservation two γ quanta are produced in the pair annihilation of a positron and an electron. These photons are emitted in opposite directions.
As the time delay between the 1275 keV line and the annihilation radiation is unresolvably small, there appears also a line at 1275 + 511 = 1786 keV as a result of simultaneous absorption of both γ quanta.

An onium (plural: onia) is a bound state of a particle and its antiparticle.[1] They are usually named by adding the suffix -onium to the name of the constituting particle except for muonium which, despite its name, is not a bound muon–antimuon onium, but an electron–antimuon bound state, and whose name was assigned by IUPAC. A muon–antimuon onium is called true muonium.Positron emission

- States must submit, at a minimum, a Unified State Plan with a four-year strategy for core programs of the State’s workforce development system. States may elect to submit a Combined State Plan that outlines this strategy in collaboration with one or more partner programs (e.g., Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the Community Services Blog Grant (CSBG) through the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)).
- Given the joint provisions within WIOA guidance, which require partnership with HUD-administered employment programs including Jobs Plus and the Community Development Block Grant program, combined state planning with HUD and/or other agencies can and should improve the quality and depth of service provided by all systems system. Combined State planning has the potential to identify the gaps in HUD-funded employment services and workforce development services and enhance both systems.
- Regardless of the Unified or Combined nature of a State Plan, it must include strategic and operational planning elements. Strategic elements include economic, workforce, and workforce development activities analysis; state strategic vision and goals; and a state strategy. The operational elements include state strategy implementation and state operating systems and policies.
- A State Plan must detail coordination of employment and training activities and relevant supportive services through state and local workforce development systems. States may also include proposals for innovative programs and strategies that will target high-need or vulnerable populations to combat poverty.

Lawbots are a broad class of customer-facing legal AI applications that are used to automate specific legal tasks, such as document automation and legal research.[1][2] The terms robot lawyer and lawyer bot are used as synonyms to lawbot.[3][4] A robot lawyer or a robo-lawyer refers to a legal AI application that can perform tasks that are typically done by paralegals or young associates at law firms. However, there is some debate on the correctness of the term. Some commentators say that legal AI is technically speaking neither a lawyer nor a robot and should not be referred to as such.[5] Other commentators believe that the term can be misleading and note that the robot lawyer of the future won't be one all-encompassing application but a collection of specialized bots for various tasks.
Lawbots use various artificial intelligence techniques or other intelligent systems to limit humans' direct ongoing involvement in certain steps of a legal matter.[6][7] The user interfaces on lawbots vary from smart searches and step-by-step forms to chatbots. Consumer and enterprise-facing lawbot solutions often do not require direct supervision from a legal professional.[8] Depending on the task, some client-facing solutions used at law firms operate under an attorney supervision.[9][10][11]

Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is a type of lymphoma, in which cancer originates from a specific type of white blood cells called lymphocytes, where multinucleated Reed–Sternberg cells (RS cells) are present in the patient's lymph nodes.[2][8] Symptoms may include fever, night sweats, and weight loss.[2] Often, nonpainful enlarged lymph nodes occur in the neck, under the arm, or in the groin.[2] Those affected may feel tired or be itchy

A sacbe, plural sacbeob (Yucatec Maya: singular sakbej, plural sakbejo'ob), or "white way", is a raised paved road built by the Maya civilization of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica.[1] Most connect temples, plazas, and groups of structures within ceremonial centers or cities, but some longer roads between cities are also known. The term "sacbe" is Yucatec Maya for "white road"; white perhaps because there is evidence that they were originally coated with limestone stucco or plaster, which was over a stone and rubble fill.Assignment (computer science)

Tactical ignoring
Tactical ignoring is a strategy where a person gives no outward sign of recognizing a behavior, such as no eye contact, no verbal response, or electronic response, and no physical response. However, the person remains aware of the behavior and monitors the individual to ensure their safety and the safety of others. It is similar to, although not identical to, the silent treatment, in that tactical ignoring is a behavioral management technique that, when correctly applied, can result in the reduction of undesirable behaviors.
One of the principles of tactical ignoring is to analyse the behavior to see the message that is being communicated by the individual. This message, the need for attention or to gain a reaction, requires a response. The aim is to provide the person with positive and quality attention for displaying appropriate behaviors, or for not displaying the undesired behavior. When the person displays the undesired behavior in order to gain attention, the planned ignoring strategy is to ignore the behavior. This strategy uses the same foundation as that underlying positive behavior support and applied behavior analysis in that positive behavior is encouraged with reinforcement, and unwanted behaviors are discouraged with ignoring or punishment. The use of tactical ignoring is taught in parent management training, but is suitable for changing unwanted adult behavior or unwanted child behavior.
Tactical ignoring can be one element of a behavior management plan when there are a variety of challenging behaviors being addressed. Because it is a method that involves not responding to an undesirable behavior, it should be complemented by differential reinforcement for an alternative behavior, as seen in functional communication training, a procedure to teach a more appropriate attention-seeking behavior.[10]

Dymphna[1] is a Christian saint honoured in Catholic and Eastern Orthodox traditions.[2][3] According to tradition, she lived in the 7th century. She was murdered by her father.
The story of Dymphna was first recorded in the 13th century by a canon of the Church of Aubert of Avranches at Cambrai, France. It was commissioned by Guiard of Laon), the Bishop of Cambrai (1238-1248).
The author expressly stated that his work was based upon a
long-standing oral tradition as well as a persuasive history of
miraculous healings of the mentally ill.[4]

United States
In the United States, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, an agency of the U.S. Department of Justice, has put into place the Trust Fund Limited Inmate Computer System (TRULINCS) on February 19, 2009. This allows inmates access to electronic messaging through e-mails. The message must be text only, and must be conducted in a secure manner between inmate and the public. Messages are subject to monitoring. Currently all institutions operated by the Bureau of Prisons have TRULINCS. However outside of the TRULINCS program, nearly all states prohibit Internet use by inmates, severely limiting technology-based access to educational opportunities.[16]
JPay was introduced as a computer system offering video conferencing, messaging, and e-mail services on a monitored basis. While technological ingenuity and advancements improved the prison system, drawbacks such as prohibiting in-person visits and replacing them with digital interactions along with a lack of inmate funds to operate the services emerged.

A European conference on Prison Education and Training was held in February 2010. Over 200 delegates from across Europe were in attendance. It was suggested to be widely accepted that prisons are damaging to the inmates, and therefore a method to decrease the potential damage is to provide the inmates an education during their incarceration. This would eventually contribute to the inmate’s successful reentry into society.[17] The internet is a convenient study tool, and if used correctly would contribute to the inmate’s studies.
In Norway, the educational and sentence act allows all inmates in Norway to have a legal right to education. The internet is described as digital tool, and has been integrated into the curriculum.[18] This allows the prison to enact a structured and meaningful path for rehabilitation.
Due to the reliance on the internet in society, newly sentenced inmates have already developed a dependency on the internet. The restriction of the internet in the inmate’s daily lives would constitute a major setback in their daily functionings.[19] The sudden removal of a major part in their lives would debilitate their motivation for rehabilitation. Inmates sentences to a longer duration would become technologically impaired when released into a society that is increasingly becoming dependent on the internet. The institution needs to prepare the inmate for reintroduction into the outside society, and doing so necessitates the familiarity with the internet.
Controversy surrounding inmate access to Internet
Allowing access to the internet for inmates is a topic with much debate. The argument for the permittance of use is largely for rehabilitation, and/or providing an environment that encourages rehabilitation. However, in the United States, security measures and state statutes in both public and private correctional institutions are significant barriers in expanding the use of the Internet to support the delivery of postsecondary education.[16] Many inmates experience a lack of access to computer equipment and security routines in prisons interfere with their education.
Inmates can also use the internet for other, illegal purposes. It has been recorded that through smuggling smart phones, inmates have called up phone directories, maps, and photographs for criminal activities. As our society becomes increasingly internet-dependent, gang violence and drug trafficking is being conducted through the internet, thus inmates are able to keep up with criminal activities even while being incarcerated.[2] In the United States, cell phone smuggling into prisons has been an increasing problem.
In 2010, the Federal Bureau of Prisons workers confiscated 1,188 mobile devices.[2] Most of the smuggled cell phones have access to the internet, and inmates are able to connect without monitoring from guards.
In addition to conducting criminal activities, inmates have used social service sites, such as Facebook, to taunt their victims.[20]
Tax farming
Tax collectors in the Bible
Tax collectors, also known as publicans, are mentioned many times in the Bible (mainly in the New Testament).
They were reviled by the Jews of Jesus' day because of their perceived
greed and collaboration with the Roman occupiers. Tax collectors amassed
personal wealth by demanding tax payments in excess of what Rome levied
and keeping the difference.[1] They worked for tax farmers. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus sympathizes with the tax collector Zacchaeus, causing outrage from the crowds that Jesus would rather be the guest of a sinner than of a more respectable or "righteous" person. Matthew the Apostle in the New Testament was a tax collector.[2]
Other historical tax collectors
"God does not show favoritism" (Acts 10:34). Therefore, Jesus treated
the tax collector and the sinner in exactly the same way, with grace.
In
biblical times the tax collector was considered by the Jews to be a
traitor and very probably a thief. Why? Because the land of Israel was
occupied by Rome and the taxes collected went to Rome. There were
several levels of authority but the customhouse officers, who were
encouraged by their superior to charge compensatory taxes, did most of
the real tax collection. These men often charged fraudulent taxes with
remedy almost impossible. These tax collectors over charged (Luke 3:13)
and brought false charges of smuggling in the hopes of extorting hush
money. The tax collectors were called "publicans" and this word means
that they were a collector of public revenue. In other words the tax
collector worked for the government in charge and that government
happened to be Rome. The publicans or tax collectors were considered
traitors and apostates. They were also defiled by their contact with
Gentiles and because they were working for the "enemy" Rome, they were
hated.
Matthew was such a man. He was a tax collector by trade.
"As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the
tax collector's booth. 'Follow me,' he told him, and Matthew got up and
followed him" (Matthew 9:9). When Jesus called Matthew, he went and
followed and became one of Jesus' apostles. Matthew was a Jew who worked
for the Roman government and therefore, he too was hated.
Therefore,
the fact that these tax collectors were hated and considered the worst
sinners by most of the population and the Pharisees in particular was
that they worked for the occupiers, Rome. "While Jesus was having dinner
at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and 'sinners' came and ate with
him and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his
disciples, 'Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and
"sinners"?' On hearing this, Jesus said, 'It is not the healthy who need
a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: "I desire
mercy, not sacrifice." For I have not come to call the righteous, but
sinners'" (Matthew 9:10-13).
Because the Pharisees hated the tax
collectors and sinners, they thought that Jesus should too. The fact
that Jesus sat and ate with what was considered the dregs of society was
an act of grace that the Pharisees could not comprehend. This passage
is the answer to how Jesus treated the tax collector and sinner. He
called them to repentance and grace. Christ had mercy upon the tax
collector and sinner and He always received them because that was why He
came. Luke 19:10 says, "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save
what was lost."
The expression 'children should be seen and not heard' is an old English proverb, dating from the 15th century.
In the original form it was specifically young
women who were expected to keep quiet. This opinion is recorded in the
15th century collection of homilies written by an Augustinian clergyman
called John Mirk in Mirk's Festial, circa 1450:

The rule of law is defined in the Oxford English Dictionary as: "The authority and influence of law
in society, especially when viewed as a constraint on individual and
institutional behavior; (hence) the principle whereby all members of a
society (including those in government) are considered equally subject
to publicly disclosed legal codes and processes."[2] The term "rule of law" is closely related to "constitutionalism" as well as "Rechtsstaat", and refers to a political situation, not to any specific legal rule.
Farming or tax-farming is a technique of financial management in which the management of a variable revenue stream is assigned by legal contract
to a third party and the holder of the revenue stream receives fixed
periodic rents from the contractor. It is most commonly used in public finance, where governments (the lessors)
lease or assign the right to collect and retain the whole of the tax
revenue to a private financier (the farmer), who is charged with paying
fixed sums (sometimes called "rents", but with a different meaning from
the common modern term) into the treasury. Sometimes, as in the case of Miguel de Cervantes, the tax farmer was a government employee, paid a salary, and all money collected went to the government.
Farming in this sense has nothing to do with agriculture, other than in a metaphorical sense.

Balfour Declaration
The Balfour Declaration was a public statement issued by the British government in 1917 during the First World War announcing support for the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine, then an Ottoman region with a small minority Jewish population. The declaration was contained in a letter dated 2 November 1917 from the United Kingdom's Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to Lord Rothschild, a leader of the British Jewish community, for transmission to the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland. The text of the declaration was published in the press on 9 November 1917.

Parthenogenesis (/ˌpɑːrθɪnoʊˈdʒɛnɪsɪs, -θɪnə-/;[1][2] from the Greek παρθένος, parthenos, 'virgin' + γένεσις, genesis, 'creation'[3]) is a natural form of asexual reproduction in which growth and development of embryos occur without fertilization by sperm. In animals, parthenogenesis means development of an embryo from an unfertilized egg cell. In plants parthenogenesis is a component process of apomixis.
Parthenogenesis occurs naturally in some plants, some invertebrate animal species (including nematodes, water fleas, some scorpions, aphids, some mites, some bees, some Phasmatodea and parasitic wasps) and a few vertebrates (such as some fish,[4] amphibians, reptiles[5][6] and very rarely birds[7]). This type of reproduction has been induced artificially in a few species including fish and amphibians.[8]
Normal egg cells form after meiosis and are haploid, with half as many chromosomes as their mother's body cells. Haploid individuals, however, are usually non-viable, and parthenogenetic offspring usually have the diploid chromosome number. Depending on the mechanism involved in restoring the diploid number of chromosomes, parthenogenetic offspring may have anywhere between all and half of the mother's alleles. The offspring having all of the mother's genetic material are called full clones and those having only half are called half clones. Full clones are usually formed without meiosis. If meiosis occurs, the offspring will get only a fraction of the mother's alleles since crossing over of DNA takes place during meiosis, creating variation.
Parthenogenetic offspring in species that use either the XY or the X0 sex-determination system have two X chromosomes and are female. In species that use the ZW sex-determination system, they have either two Z chromosomes (male) or two W chromosomes (mostly non-viable but rarely a female), or they could have one Z and one W chromosome (female).

Prison Industry Enhancement Certification Program
The Prison Industry Enhancement (PIE) Certification Program is a partnership between the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and a private company, which allows the company to employ offenders that have volunteered to be a part of the program. The offenders are paid by the private company and deductions are taken from their wages for the offenders' taxes, room and board, family support (incudes dependent/child support), restitution and a contribution is made to a crime victims' fund. The PIE Certification Program was created by Congress in 1979 to encourage states and units of local government to establish employment opportunities for offenders in realistic working environments, pay them wages, and enable them to acquire marketable skills to increase their potential for successful rehabilitation and meaningful employment upon release. |

get someone's goat
To make someone annoyed or angry: “Gavin may seem unflappable, but I know a way to get his goat.” This expression comes from a tradition in horse racing. Thought to have a calming effect on high-strung thoroughbreds, a goat was placed in the horse's stall on the night before the race. Unscrupulous opponents would then steal the goat in an effort to upset the horse and cause it to lose the race.
These goats are from China, or Asia.

Chronoamperometry is an electrochemical technique in which the potential of the working electrode is stepped and the resulting current from faradaic processes occurring at the electrode (caused by the potential step) is monitored as a function of time. The functional relationship between current response and time is measured after applying single or double potential step to the working electrode of the electrochemical system. Limited information about the identity of the electrolyzed species can be obtained from the ratio of the peak oxidation current versus the peak reduction current. However, as with all pulsed techniques, chronoamperometry generates high charging currents, which decay exponentially with time as any RC circuit. The Faradaic current - which is due to electron transfer events and is most often the current component of interest - decays as described in the Cottrell equation. In most electrochemical cells this decay is much slower than the charging decay-cells with no supporting electrolyte are notable exceptions. Most commonly a three electrode system is used. Since the current is integrated over relatively longer time intervals, chronoamperometry gives a better signal to noise ratio in comparison to other amperometric techniques.
