cut your coat according to your cloth. UK. said to emphasize that someone should do as well as possible with the limited money they have.

What is the origin and meaning of the idiom cut from the same cloth?

The term cut from the same cloth refers to individuals that are similar in specific ways. The origin of this phrase comes from the fact that suit makers cut the trousers and jacket of a suit from the same cloth in order to have them match.

Fish or cut bait

Fish or cut bait is a common English language colloquial expression, dating back to the 19th-century United States, that refers to division of complementary tasks. The use of this expression has expanded over time, sometimes including the ideas of swift decision-making (to act or not to act), and cautions against procrastination and/or indecisiveness.

Saint Roderick (Latin: Rodericus, Rudericus; Spanish: San Rodrigo; died March 13, 857 AD) was a Mozarab priest, venerated as one of the Martyrs of Córdoba. Tradition states that he was a Christian priest of Cabra who had two brothers: one was a Muslim, the other had no religion. Once, after his brothers began to fight one another, Roderick attempted to break up the fight. However, they turned on him instead and beat him.

When Roderick awoke, he found that his Muslim brother had reported to the authorities that Roderick had converted to Islam. When Roderick maintained his loyalty to the Catholic religion, he was accused of apostasy under Sharia law. He was imprisoned and then beheaded along with Salomon (Solomon) at Córdoba.

St. Roderick's Convent and Hospital in Cabra, established in the 16th century, bears his name.

Mathematical sociology is the area of sociology that uses mathematics to construct social theories. In mathematical sociology, interpersonal ties are defined as information-carrying connections between people.

Representation theory is a branch of mathematics that studies abstract algebraic structures by representing their elements as linear transformations of vector spaces, and studies modules over these abstract algebraic structures. In essence, a representation makes an abstract algebraic object more concrete by describing its elements by matrices and its algebraic operations (for example, matrix addition, matrix multiplication). The theory of matrices and linear operators is well-understood, so representations of more abstract objects in terms of familiar linear algebra objects helps glean properties and sometimes simplify calculations on more abstract theories.

In the study of the representation theory of Lie groups, the study of representations of SU(2) is fundamental to the study of representations of semisimple Lie groups.

The Ramsey problem, or Ramsey pricing, or Ramsey–Boiteux pricing, is a second-best policy problem concerning what prices a public monopoly should charge for the various products it sells in order to maximize social welfare while earning enough revenue to cover its fixed costs.

In some contexts, Ramsey pricing is a form of price discrimination because the two products with different elasticities of demand are one physically identical product sold to two different groups of customers, e.g., electricity to residential customers and to commercial customers.

consists of a gas of ions - atoms which have some of their orbital electrons removed - and free electrons. Plasma can be artificially generated by heating or subjecting a neutral gas to a strong electromagnetic field to the point where an ionized gaseous substance becomes increasingly electrically conductive. Turing Award Won by 3 Pioneers in Artificial Intelligence

In machine learning, hyperparameter optimization or tuning is the problem of choosing a set of optimal hyperparameters for a learning algorithm. A hyperparameter is a parameter whose value is used to control the learning process. By contrast, the values of other parameters (typically node weights) are learned.

Hyperparameters are the magic numbers of machine learning. We're going to learn how to find them in a more intelligent way than just trial-and-error. We'll go over grid search, random search, and Bayesian Optimization. I'll also cover the difference between Bayesian and Frequentist probability.

In mathematics, a sequence of nested intervals is understood as a collection of sets of real numbers. The elementary or first-order theory of Heyting algebras is undecidable. It remains open whether the universal Horn theory of Heyting algebras, or word problem, is decidable. À propos of the word problem it is known that Heyting algebras are not locally finite (no Heyting algebra generated by a finite nonempty set is finite), in contrast to Boolean algebras which are locally finite and whose word problem is decidable. It is unknown whether free complete Heyting algebras exist except in the case of a single generator where the free Heyting algebra on one generator is trivially completable by adjoining a new top.

The code may be processed by an interpreter, or may simply be a sequence of machine code call instructions.

Physiocracy (French: Physiocratie; from the Greek for "government of nature") is an economic theory developed by a group of 18th-century Enlightenment French economists who believed that the wealth of nations was derived solely from the value of "land agriculture" or "land development" and that agricultural products should be highly priced. Their theories originated in France and were most popular during the second half of the 18th century. Physiocracy is one of the first well-developed theories of economics.

The movement was particularly dominated by François Quesnay (1694–1774) and Anne-Robert-Jacques Turgot (1727–1781). It immediately preceded the first modern school, classical economics, which began with the publication of Adam Smith's The Wealth of Nations in 1776.

Moment (mathematics)

In mathematics, a moment is a specific quantitative measure of the shape of a function. It is used in both mechanics and statistics. If the function represents physical density, then the zeroth moment is the total mass, the first moment divided by the total mass is the center of mass, and the second moment is the rotational inertia. If the function is a probability distribution, then the zeroth moment is the total probability (i.e. one), the first moment is the mean, the second central moment is the variance, the third standardized moment is the skewness, and the fourth standardized moment is the kurtosis. The mathematical concept is closely related to the concept of moment in physics.
For a distribution of mass or probability on a bounded interval, the collection of all the moments (of all orders, from 0 to ∞) uniquely determines the distribution (Hausdorff moment problem). The same is not true on unbounded intervals (Hamburger moment problem).

it is interesting researching Java Moments:

Literals in Java are a sequence of characters (digits, letters, and other characters) that represent constant values to be stored in variables. Java language specifies five major types of literals. Literals can be any number, text, or other information that represents a value. This means what you type is what you get.

Java Literals are syntactic representations of boolean, character, numeric, or string data. Literals provide a means of expressing specific values in your program.

It has since found application in solid state physics, as well as having ties to certain areas of string theory.

In neuroscience, it includes measurements of the electrical activity of neurons, and, in particular, action potential activity. Recordings of large-scale electric signals from the nervous system, such as electroencephalography, may also be referred to as electrophysiological recordings. They are useful for electrodiagnosis and monitoring

Arduino, meet Arduinna...
In Gallo-Roman religion, Arduinna (also Arduina, Arduinnae or Arduinne) was the eponymous tutelary goddess of the Ardennes Forest and region, thought to be represented as a huntress riding a boar (primarily in the present-day regions of Belgium and Luxembourg). Her cult originated in the Ardennes region of present-day Belgium, Luxembourg, and France. She was identified with the Roman goddess Diana.[1]

In The Gods of the Celts, Miranda Green states that some depictions of Arduinna show her riding a boar.[2] However, Simone Deyts[3] notes that the bronze Gallo-Roman statue of a woman in a short belted tunic, riding a boar sidesaddle and holding a knife, conserved in the Musée des antiquités nationales, St-Germain-en-Laye,[4] bears no inscription, and was simply assumed to be Arduinna by the 19th century antiquarian who discovered it—perhaps because the modern symbol of the Ardennes region is also a boar.[5] Another such bronze, from the collection of Richard Payne Knight, has been in the British Museum since 1824; it is traditionally identified as "Diana".[6] Both bronze statuettes are now headless.

The Vaimānika Śāstra (वैमानिक शास्त्र, lit. "shastra on the topic of Vimanas"; or "science of aeronautics", sometimes also rendered Vimanika, Vymanika, Vyamanika) is an early 20th-century pseudo-scientific text in Sanskrit. It makes the claim that the vimānas mentioned in ancient Sanskrit epics were advanced aerodynamic flying vehicles.

The existence of the text was revealed in 1952 by G. R. Josyer who asserted that it was written by Pandit Subbaraya Shastry (1866–1940), who dictated it during the years 1918–1923. A Hindi translation was published in 1959, while the Sanskrit text with an English translation was published in 1973. It contains 3000 shlokas in 8 chapters which Shastry claimed was psychically delivered to him by the ancient Hindu sage Bharadvaja.[1] The text has gained favour among proponents of ancient astronauts.

A study by aeronautical and mechanical engineering researchers at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in 1974 concluded that the aircraft described in the text were "poor concoctions" and that the author showed a complete lack of understanding of aeronautics. Regarding the "Rukma Vimana", the study noted, "If the craft is taken to mean what the drawing and the text say, it can be stated that the craft is a decided impossibility".[2]

In the Eastern religions of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Shintoism it is used as a map representing deities, or specially in the case of Shintoism, paradises, kami or actual shrines.

The Great Library of Alexandria in Alexandria, Egypt, was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world. The Library was part of a larger research institution called the Mouseion, which was dedicated to the Muses, the nine goddesses of the arts.[10] The idea of a universal library in Alexandria may have been proposed by Demetrius of Phalerum, an exiled Athenian statesman living in Alexandria, to Ptolemy I Soter, who may have established plans for the Library, but the Library itself was probably not built until the reign of his son Ptolemy II Philadelphus. The Library quickly acquired many papyrus scrolls, due largely to the Ptolemaic kings' aggressive and well-funded policies for procuring texts. It is unknown precisely how many such scrolls were housed at any given time, but estimates range from 40,000 to 400,000 at its height.

In statistical physics and mathematics, percolation theory describes the behaviour of connected clusters in a random graph. The applications of percolation theory to materials science and other domains are discussed in the article percolation.
A topological quantum computer is a theoretical quantum computer that employs two-dimensional quasiparticles called anyons, whose world lines pass around one another to form braids in a three-dimensional spacetime (i.e., one temporal plus two spatial dimensions). These braids form the logic gates that make up the computer. The advantage of a quantum computer based on quantum braids over using trapped quantum particles is that the former is much more stable. Small, cumulative perturbations can cause quantum states to decohere and introduce errors in the computation, but such small perturbations do not change the braids' topological properties. This is like the effort required to cut a string and reattach the ends to form a different braid, as opposed to a ball (representing an ordinary quantum particle in four-dimensional spacetime) bumping into a wall. Alexei Kitaev proposed topological quantum computation in 1997. While the elements of a topological quantum computer originate in a purely mathematical realm, experiments in fractional quantum Hall systems indicate these elements may be created in the real world using semiconductors made of gallium arsenide at a temperature of near absolute zero and subjected to strong magnetic fields.

Algebraic semantics (mathematical logic)

In mathematical logic, algebraic semantics is a formal semantics based on algebras studied as part of algebraic logic. For example, the modal logic S4 is characterized by the class of topological boolean algebras—that is, boolean algebras with an interior operator. Other modal logics are characterized by various other algebras with operators. The class of boolean algebras characterizes classical propositional logic, and the class of Heyting algebras propositional intuitionistic logic. MV-algebras are the algebraic semantics of Łukasiewicz logic.

Catherine II (RussianЕкатери́на Алексе́евнаromanizedYekaterina Alekseyevna; 2 May [O.S. 21 April] 1729 – 17 November [O.S. 6 November] 1796), most commonly known as Catherine the Great (Екатери́на Вели́каяYekaterina Velikaya), born Princess Sophie of Anhalt-Zerbst, was Empress of Russia from 1762 until 1796, the country's longest-ruling female leader. She came to power following a coup d'état that she organised—resulting in her husband, Peter III, being overthrown. Under her reign, Russia was revitalised; it grew larger and stronger, and was recognised as one of the great powers of Europe.

Winds aloft, officially known as the winds and temperatures aloft forecast, (known as “FD” in the US and Canada, but becoming known as “FB”, following the World Meteorological Organization [WMO] nomenclature), is a forecast of specific atmospheric conditions in terms of wind and temperature at certain altitudes, typically measured in feet (ft) above mean sea level (MSL). The forecast is specifically used for aviation purposes.
The components of a winds and temperatures aloft forecast are displayed as DDss+/-TT:
  • Wind direction (DD) and wind speed (ss), displayed as a 4-digit number, e.g. 3127, indicating a wind direction of 310 degrees true north and a wind speed of 27 knots. Note that wind direction is rounded to the nearest 10 degrees and the trailing zero is excluded.
  • Temperature (TT), displayed as a +/- two-digit number, indicating temperature in degrees Celsius.
Above 24,000 feet, the format changes by omitting a +/- sign on temperature. Temperatures at high aviation altitudes are below zero Celsius. 1 knot = 1.15 miles per hour. Wind direction information is with respect to True North and based on the direction from which the wind is blowing.
Knot Theory huh? The north and south winds are welcome winds; when they blow on the garden, its fragrance is spread abroad (Song of Solomon 4:16). “As it happens to the fool, It also happens to me, And why was I then more wise?” Then I said in my heart, “This also is vanity.” Wisdom is important, but it cannot prevent the ultimate end of life. Nor can it halt the effect of death for those apart from God—they will perish forever. “Then I looked on all the works that my hands had done And on the labor in which I had toiled; And indeed all was vanity and grasping for the wind. There was no profit under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 2:11) [ Ecclesiastes 1:16-2:26 The Quest ] The south wind could be hot (Luke 12:55) or gentle (Acts 27:13)

Isaiah 1:21-26

Isaiah 1:21-26 is especially interesting because it describes the harlotry principle working within the social justice system. Judges were selling themselves out through accepting bribes or for personal advantage in some other area of life, and counselors—lawyers—were giving bad advice to tip the scales of "justice" favorably for their careers. Under such corruption, justice in Israel was difficult to find, so difficult that "the prudent keep silent at that time, for it is an evil time" (Amos 5:13)

Gleichschaltung (German pronunciation: [ˈɡlaɪçʃaltʊŋ]), or in English co-ordination, was in Nazi terminology the process of Nazification by which Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party successively established a system of totalitarian control and coordination over all aspects of German society and societies occupied by Nazi Germany "from the economy and trade associations to the media, culture and education".

The apex of the Nazification of Germany was in the resolutions approved during the Nuremberg Rally of 1935, when the symbols of the Nazi Party and the State were fused (see Flag of Germany) and German Jews were deprived of their citizenship (see Nuremberg Laws).

Factoring is a financial transaction and a type of debtor finance in which a business sells its accounts receivable (i.e., invoices) to a third party (called a factor) at a discount.  Unlike traditional factoring, where a supplier wants to finance its receivables, reverse factoring (or supply chain financing) is a financing solution initiated by the ordering party (the customer) in order to help its suppliers to finance its receivables more easily and at a lower interest rate than what would normally be offered.

Peace on Earth, Frog, Texas project narrative...

(dealt with Frog men projects launched from Frog, Texas)

Frog, Texas is an unincorporated community in Kaufman County, located in the U.S. state of Texas.

"Joy to the World" is a song written by Hoyt Axton and made famous by the band Three Dog Night. The song is also popularly known by its opening lyric, "Jeremiah was a bullfrog."

I was reading Jeremiah 51 and 52 from the Bible and found the name Evil-merodach.

Frog jumping is a competitive pastime for humans in which frogs are entered into competitions to jump certain distances. I thought that I would suggest that a frog named Evil-merodach may be an ideal competitor for a 'leap of faith' contest with a frog named 'Jeremiah ' as a 'bull frog jumping, leap of faith' contest.  You see Jeremiah may need a competitor and with a name like Evil-merodach, we have notions of Evel Knievel and that seems as a jubilee humdinger.

The Frog Won't Be Your Beast of Burden

A frog goes into a bank, and hops up on the desk of the loan officer. ''Hi,'' he croaks.''What's your name?''

The loan officer says, ''My name is Patty Wack. May I help you?''

''Yeah,'' says the frog. ''I'd like to borrow some money.''

The loan officer finds this a little odd, but gets out a form. ''Okay, what's your name?''

The frog replies, ''Kermit Jagger.''

''Really?'' says the loan officer. ''Any relation to Mick Jagger?''
''Yeah, he's my dad.''

''Hmmm,'' says the loan officer. ''Do you have any collateral?''

The frog hands over a white ceramic elephant and asks, ''Will this do?''

The loan officer says, ''Um, I'm not sure. Let me go check with the bank manager.''

''Oh, tell him I said hi,'' adds the frog. ''He knows me.''

The loan officer goes back to the manager and says, ''Excuse me, sir, but there's a frog out there named Kermit Jagger who wants to borrow some money. All he has for collateral is this white elephant; I'm not even sure what it is.'
'
The manager says: ''It's a knick-knack, Miss Patty Wack, give the frog a loan; his old man's a Rolling Stone.'

The USNS Comfort is in an article I recently composed here:

Nation-building is constructing or structuring a national identity using the power of the state. It is thus narrower than what Paul James calls "nation formation", the broad process through which nations come into being.

The Trinitarian order and Our Lady of Good Remedy may coordinate with Feria Del Burro in Mexico to address a Nation building mission project that was leapt upon in our great state of Texas, from Frog, Texas, in this 'leap of faith' Jeremiah v. Evil-Merodach charter proposed. The donkey is associated with the democratic party as a mascot and is often depicted in the manger in the Nativity scene. We may build upon these spiritual comforts.

Job 24: 5-19 Poor are like wild donkeys may our Biblical passage to coordinate with from our 'leap of faith' Jeremiah v. Evil Merodach 501 c (3 or 4) charter proposed from Frog, Texas.

Our United States Navy from the USNS Comfort may help maturity in addressing social conventions of our Great state of Texas and our United States of America coordinating efforts deployed in fine arts with mission aims of opening up social dialog and forging peace. Perhaps healthy competition with the Marines to fine tune fine art may address US social conventions as:

The Power of Public Memory

What Do We Choose to Remember, Who Do We Choose To Honor?

Yes and no. The Federal Reserve (the Fed) enjoys a unique public/private structure that operates within the government, but is still relatively independent of government to isolate the Fed from day-to-day political pressures in fulfilling its varying roles. As stated in The Federal Reserve System Purposes & Functions:
The Federal Reserve System is considered to be an independent central bank. It is so, however, only in the sense that its decisions do not have to be ratified by the President or anyone else in the executive branch of the government. The entire System is subject to oversight by the U.S. Congress….the Federal Reserve must work within the framework of the overall objectives of economic and financial policy established by the government.

How did ISIS save Osiris?
Using her sharp vision, she was able to find all the pieces of the body to put Osiris back together. With the help of Nepthys, Thoth, and Anubis, Isis performed a great act of magic. Very carefully, they began to sew Osiris's body back together. They worked together night after night.

How many pieces was Osiris cut into?
fourteen pieces
It is there that Seth found it, "one night when he hunted with his pack to the moonlight" and cut him into fourteen pieces which he dispersed in the swamps (Isis and Osiris, 18). Isis then undertook a new quest and, recovering the pieces of the body of Osiris one by one, buries them in the different cities of Egypt.

Rose of Sharon

Biblical origins

The name "rose of Sharon" first appears in Hebrew in the Tanakh. In the Shir Hashirim ('Song of Songs' or 'Song of Solomon') 2:1, the speaker (the beloved) says "I am the rose of Sharon, a rose of the valley". The Hebrew phrase חבצלת השרון (ḥăḇatzeleṯ hasharon) was translated by the editors of the King James version of the Bible as "rose of Sharon"; however, previous translations had rendered it simply as "the flower of the field" (Septuagint "ἐγὼ ἄνθος τοῦ πεδίου", Vulgate "ego flos campi",Wiclif "a flower of the field"). Contrariwise, the Hebrew word ḥăḇatzeleṯ occurs two times in the scriptures: in the Song, and in Isaiah 35:1, which reads, "the desert shall bloom like the rose." The word is translated "rose" in the King James version, but is rendered variously as "lily" (Septuagint "κρίνον", Vulgate "lilium",Wiclif "lily"), "jonquil" (Jerusalem Bible) and "crocus" (RSV).

The Rose of Sharon – 무궁화 – National Flower of Korea

Rose of Sharon is a common name that has been applied to several different species of flowering plants that are valued in different parts of the world. It is also a biblical expression, though the identity of the plant referred to is unclear and is disputed among biblical scholars. In neither case does it refer to actual roses, although one of the species it refers to in modern usage is a member of Rosaceae. The deciduous flowering shrub known as the rose of Sharon is a member of the mallow family which is distinct from the family Rosaceae. The name's colloquial application has been used as an example of the lack of precision of common names, which can potentially cause confusion. "Rose of Sharon" has become a frequently used catch phrase in poetry and lyrics. And a Hibiscus syriacus is a species of flowering plant in the mallow family, Malvaceae. It is native to south-central and southeast China, but widely introduced elsewhere, including much of Asia. It was given the epithet syriacus because it had been collected from gardens in Syria. Common names include the Korean rose (in South Korea), rose of Sharon

Kemadruma yoga, is one of the most important Yogas formed by Moon. According to Varahmihir, this Yoga is formed when one house in front and back from the Moon are vacant. In other words, the second and the twelfth house from the Moon should be vacant so that this Yoga can be formed. This Yoga is not at all inauspicious as believed by the astrologers in the modern times. A person should not be afraid of this Yoga at all. In fact it provides strong power to a person to face all sorts of struggles in life so that he may excel and achieve success. People with this Yoga are generally seen to be excellent Generals, Ministers, Councillors, Advisors, Teachers, Professors, Coaches and highly paid & in-demand consultants. The general idea is that they may not be in 'one opinion within' for their own life but are the best people to seek advice from. For example: A person with this Yoga may not be a great soccer player being an average implementer however due to the deep knowledge of technique might guide someone to become one of the best soccer players in the Century. Most phenomenal Astrologers who have contributed to groundbreaking discoveries were born with this Yoga. It is believed that people with such type of a planetary setting, when once channelize their energy and calm the chattering mind either with meditation, yoga, mantra recitation, etc. - they can learn and store 'the entire knowledge available to humanity ever' which is what had made them great advisors & gurus throughout the history. A key distinguishing factor in such individuals is that they are theoretical gurus of all trades but average or below average implementers of that knowledge. These individuals when clubbed with an equally good implementer (who readily accepts 'a person with this Yoga' as his teacher), results in a highly successful union which is an unstoppable team in every aspect.

Durkheim has sought to explain group behaviour in terms of collective consciousness. According to him, when people collect in a group, a collective consciousness is created by the mutual exchange of ideas and notions. Mind is another name for the flow of consciousness.

Thomas Sunday April 26, 2020

Thomas Sunday, called so after Saint Thomas the Apostle, who wanted to place his hands in the wounds of Christ, before he would believe that He had risen from the dead. Thomas is like all of us. He is the “everyman”, who would one day be a great missionary for Christ, and do remarkable things. He had his moments, just like us, where he was fearful. He, like us, was weak in his faith, and lacked a courageous heart, yet he gained all, by his belief in the midst of his unbelief. We, if we follow his example, can do great things, and be all that God designed us to be, when He created us in His image and likeness. Even in our weakness, and unbelief, we, like Saint Thomas, can be great men and women of Faith. He is “everyman”, just as are we. He did great things, and so can we. He followed Christ into eternity, and so can we! Love in the Risen Lord Jesus Christ,

The U.S. debt to China is $1.07 trillion as of December 2019. That's 16% of the $6.7 trillion in Treasury bills, notes, and bonds held by foreign countries. The rest of the $23 trillion national debt is owned by either the American people or by the U.S. government itself.

What is a whip in politics?
In political contexts the word whip refers to a member of a legislature (such as the U.S. Congress or the British Parliament) who is appointed by a political party to make sure that other members are present when votes are taken and that they do the things that they are expected to do.

The term "whip" comes from a fox-hunting expression— "whipper-in"—referring to the member of the hunting team responsible for keeping the dogs from straying from the team during a chase. Established early in the 20th century, the development of party whips coincided with the evolution of party leaders in the Senate.

What is separation of duties?
Separation of duties (SoD) (also known as "Segregation of duties") is the concept of having more than one person required to complete a task. In business the separation by sharing of more than one individual in one single task is an internal control intended to prevent fraud and error. The Law of Demeter (LoD) or principle of least knowledge is a design guideline for developing software, particularly object-oriented programs. In its general form, the LoD is a specific case of loose coupling.

Hero worship may refer to:
Why did Aurangzeb imprisoned his father?

To occupy the throne of India Aurangzeb arrested his father Shah Jahan and imprisoned him at Agra Fort. Naturally he is condemned for this. ... To do so he arrested his father and deported him to Agra. Practically and according to the system of that time he was right in doing so but ethically he was wrong and unethical.

That was not very nice to treat his father this way, to imprison him. Let us consider... Thousands of years ago on a battlefield in India, Arjuna, the young warrior prince of the Pandavas, is leading his army in a great civil war against those who have unjustly usurped his kingdom The Bhishma Parva (Sanskrit: भीष्म पर्व), or the Book of Bhishma, is the sixth of eighteen books of the Indian epic Mahabharata. ... This book of Mahabharata includes the widely studied Bhagavad gita, sometimes referred to as Gita, essentially, Arjuan has his throne taken by him from a corrupt uncle Sam taking a hostile take over of land and territory.
In the epic Mahabharata, Droṇa (Sanskrit: द्रोण, Droṇa) or Droṇāchārya or Guru Droṇa or .... Sarasvati said that knowledge belonged to all, and that it was an acharya's duty to spread that knowledge everywhere. (Acharya is sometimes used to address a teacher or a scholar in any discipline, e.g.: Bhaskaracharya, the mathematician.)

Karna is one of the mightiest warriors in the whole Aryavarata to allow him to fight against his own brothers in war would be disastrous. Karna vowed that he will kill Arjuna and Arjuna has also vowed that he will kill Karna on the battlefield.

So, this is not an uncommon story, Catherine II, also known as Catherine the Great, born Princess Sophie of Anhalt-Zerbst, was Empress of Russia from 1762 until 1796, the country's longest-ruling female leader. She came to power following a coup d'état that she organised—resulting in her husband, Peter III, being overthrown.

Bhagavad Gita,” therefore, can be translated as “The Song of our Lord.” ... For example, in the Gita, Krishna points out to Arjuna that his Dharma is to be a warrior whether he likes it or not. He cannot escape his Dharma and he must fulfill it. Arjuna is a warrior for what is right and just... it just goes a bit further back to consider this Asian convention.... Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb

Now in a sort of antithesis Sant Dnyaneshwar have parents whom self sacrifice themselves for their children in Caste systems in India whom alienated them and attempted to explain to the Brahmin the errors of their ways and needed God's help with performing miracles including a talking cow to convince those priests that they were wrong to outcast orphans from misinterpreted caste system rules. There are similarities with the Pharisees and Jesus with the story of Saint Dnyaneshwar (1275-1276). Power corrupts some Brahman clerics for Saint Dnyaneshwar as happened with the Pharisees and Jesus. To a degree I suspect this directed guru Nanak Sahib with founding Sikhism (1469-1539) addressing social justice with orphans, elders, etc. in a similar manner. For Example: (After the Crusade) The end of Richard the Lionheart's life was marked by incessant conflict with his great rival, the King of France, Philip Augustus, who, keen to bring the Plantagenets back into line, had tried to involve himself in the family disputes that had torn them apart before the death of Henry II. Drachma
Drachma, silver coin of ancient Greece, dating from about the mid-6th century bc, and the former monetary unit of modern Greece. The drachma was one of the world's earliest coins. Its name derives from the Greek verb meaning “to grasp,” and its original value was equivalent to that of a handful of arrows.

The ancient greek coins were handmade contrary to the industrialized coins of modern world. Silver, gold, electrum and bronze were used for making the coins while several depictions were carved on them.

Denarius of Juno Moneta (c. In 390 BCE, the goddess’s sacred geese warned (monere) the Romans of an attack by Gauls, thus her temple on the Capitoline was dedicated to Juno Moneta and the coin mint established nearby.

The seven hills of Rome east of the river Tiber form the geographical heart of Rome, within the walls of the city. The temple of Juno Moneta and the customs is a fascinating study to consider.

Scott's pi is similar to Cohen's kappa in that they improve on simple observed agreement by factoring in the extent of agreement that might be expected by chance. However, in each statistic, the expected agreement is calculated slightly differently. Scott's pi makes the assumption that annotators have the same distribution of responses, which makes Cohen's kappa slightly more informative. Scott's pi is extended to more than two annotators by Fleiss' kappa.

A human factor:

Mathematical anxiety is anxiety about one's ability to do mathematics. It is a phenomenon that is often considered when examining students' problems in mathematics.
If the p-value is less than or equal to the alpha (p< . 05), then we reject the null hypothesis, and we say the result is statistically significant. If the p-value is greater than alpha (p > . 05), then we fail to reject the null hypothesis, and we say that the result is statistically nonsignificant (n.s.).

In statistics we tend use the 'hat' notation to imply a statistic. We designate P to represent the proportion in the population. Because P is unknown and unknowable we use Phat to designate the proportion in the sample.

In statistics, the intraclass correlation, or the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC),[1] is a descriptive statistic that can be used when quantitative measurements are made on units that are organized into groups. It describes how strongly units in the same group resemble each other. While it is viewed as a type of correlation, unlike most other correlation measures it operates on data structured as groups, rather than data structured as paired observations.

Possibly the earliest affirmation of the maxim of reciprocity, reflecting the ancient Egyptian goddess Ma'at, appears in the story of The Eloquent Peasant, which dates to the Middle Kingdom (c. 2040–1650 BC): "Now this is the command: Do to the doer to make him do." This proverb embodies the do ut des principle. Ancient India

Sanskrit tradition

In Mahābhārata, the ancient epic of India, there is a discourse in which the wise minister Vidura advises the King Yuddhiśhṭhira
Listening to wise scriptures, austerity, sacrifice, respectful faith, social welfare, forgiveness, purity of intent, compassion, truth and self-control—are the ten wealth of character (self). O king aim for these, may you be steadfast in these qualities. These are the basis of prosperity and rightful living. These are highest attainable things. All worlds are balanced on dharma, dharma encompasses ways to prosperity as well. O King, dharma is the best quality to have, wealth the medium and desire (kāma) the lowest. Hence, (keeping these in mind), by self-control and by making dharma (right conduct) your main focus, treat all animals as you treat yourself (सर्वभूतेषु वर्तितव्यं यथात्मनि).

Ancient Greece

The Golden Rule in its prohibitive (negative) form was a common principle in ancient Greek philosophy. Examples of the general concept include:
  • "Avoid doing what you would blame others for doing." – Thales (c. 624 BC – c. 546 BC)
  • "What you do not want to happen to you, do not do it yourself either. " – Sextus the Pythagorean. The oldest extant reference to Sextus is by Origen in the third century of the common era.
  • "Do not do to others that which angers you when they do it to you." – Isocrates (436–338 BC)

Ancient Rome

Seneca the Younger (c. 4 BC–65 AD), a practitioner of Stoicism (c. 300 BC–200 AD) expressed the Golden Rule in his essay regarding the treatment of slaves: "Treat your inferior as you would wish your superior to treat you."
